Venture Capital Today: An Insider's Roadmap and Tips to Funding, Plus the Outlook for the Mobility sector

Speaker Roman Kitka
Managing Partner of Genesis Campus & Mobility Ventures

The "nuclear winter" of venture capital funding has been greatly exaggerated. Despite the tumultuous and unpredictable state of today's capital market, entrepreneurs still have plenty of ways to raise funds for their companies. However, venture capital firms are being very selective about deals -- venture capitalist fund only two or three deals out of hundreds that made it to the review process. In his talk, Roman Kikta, will discuss the state of venture capital on a national and local level, plus provide insights on how to get introduced to venture capitalists and tips on the path to getting funded. He will identify the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs and start-ups as well as present new opportunities in the Mobility sector.
