DallasPop
is the Dallas Entertainment and Consumer Technology Continuum
DallasPop
promotes Dallas Fort Worth companies in entertainment, software,
and Internet consumer media and technology, both within the area
and nationally. We provide a community for business, networking,
education, information, and careers. Members include companies in
film, video, music, audio, animation, gaming, Internet, CD-ROM,
advertising, and marketing, as well as professionals serving this
community. DallasPop features a membership list of over 600 DFW
executives and professionals.
After
launching in the summer of 2001, DallasPop had a great Fall season
that climaxed with the seminar "Digital
Video and Broadband: New Services, New Networks, but when will it
REALLY arrive?" at the Studios at Las Colinas.
There were terrific presentations by leading industry and area market
researchers, corporate executives, and producers. Coverage in DFW
TechBiz included two articles published by seminar speakers.
DallasPop
continues its seminar success with a Spring 2002 digital music seminar
- "The State of Consumer
Digital Music: Beyond Gnutella, Morpheus, MusicNet, and Pressplay".
