Come see where Movie Magic is made... right in the heart of Texas! From the incredible displays, to the screening room and sound stages - you'll discover the secrets of the imagemakers.

Enter the world where movie magic is made right in the heart of Texas. The Studio Tour takes you behind the scenes at a working high-tech motion picture and television sound stage that attracts famous actors and filmmakers - including Christopher Reeves, Debra Winger, Steve Martin, Kevin Costner, Meryl Streep and Geraldine Page.

You'll see where such blockbusters as "Silkwood", "Robocop", "Problem Child", "JFK", and known children's characters, Gerbert & Barney, have produced many television and video episodes at The Movie Studios which continues to be a popular production facility for commercials as well. Famous recording artists such as David Bowie, Garth Brooks, Amy Grant and Eric Clapton have used The Studios for their music videos and rehearsals.

You'll find out how the sets, special effects and miniatures trick the eye - as well as visit the actual model submarine used in "The Hunt For Red October", the Oval Office set from "JFK" and the bench from "Forrest Gump". You'll see how make-up and costumes perfect the illusion - and get a close look at our collection of famous costumes including Batman, Superman, Star Trek, the Von Trapp family costumes from the classic musical "Sound of Music", as well as Dorothy's blue dress from the "Wizard of Oz", plus many more internationally recognized pieces.
